Dear David What an absolute heartfeltpleasure it was meeting you at Mesa Verde duringyour lunchtime performance for the Tauck Tour inearly August. Your music is indeed haunting andetherial with the Circle Around the Moon CDkeeping us connected to the spirit voice that somoved us during your performance. You will alsoalways be remembered as the one and only person onthis Great Plain we inhabit that thought ofRachmaninoffs Piano Concerto at the very sametime I did. Your talent (and taste) ismesmerizing! Carol de Lyon Your"Rach" friend)

Hey David We met briefly last year up in the Mesa Verde. You inspired me as anon musical person..You advised i watch a specivic movie..good move thank you.. I went back to the UK and went straight back todaily mundane and didnt get around to mailing you as i promised. Im back in the US and happened accross a lady playing a flute by the Granite lakeside....She has a selection of 15 flutes and allowed me to try them out. It reminded me to talk to you about making one for me.. I would love you to carve one for me when time allows...though i understand you are generally too busy over the summer....If you could i would come and sit with you for the practice up in the mountains...(i have to go back to UK mid Sept) I know thatG" is usually a good starter flute but i did enjoy the F# that i tried. I remember the ones you showed me which where much more comfortable..... I like thefeel of cedar but not too worried which wood type so long as itfeels approriate.....when you chose it. My totem animal is the otter and the salmon... I was born... Read more

David A friend Gerald told me aboutyou and your flutes; and to check your flutes out.So I did and here I am. If I threw arock from where I am sitting right now Id hitthe Arctic Ocean (what isnt still frozen) ---ora walrus or a seal. There are Nativedrums up here at the top of the world in Barrow Alaska but no flute tradition---my desire is tohave a cultural exchange between Inupiats andLower 48ers. Interested? )
